Golf Club and Seaton Carew Golf Club, the two premier links courses in
North England, are joining forces to co-host the first-ever North
England Women’s Amateur Championship 27th and 28th May. This new 54-hole
event has been approved by the R&A for the awarding of World
Amateur Golf Ranking points. And it takes place in the run up to the
prestigious St Rule Trophy to be contested over the New and Old Courses
in St Andrews the ensuing weekend. So there's every reason to
believe that it will attract a strong field of some of the UK's best
