      And with that, we can report that this pea souper of a day 1 of the Scottish Men's Area Finals Hilton Park Golf Club has concluded with a win for Angus (4 -2) against Perth & Kinross thanks to an eagle on the 1st playoff hole from Phil Brown!
      Renfrewshire took the singles all the way to the 21st hole to win against Glasgow 4-2!

      Big congrats to Royal Aberdeen GC team of - Mark Halliday, Don MacAndrew, Niall Young & Nick MacAndrew who won the Dalswinton cup by an impressive 5 shots on 142 over Deeside’s team of Jason Bruce, Henri Charles, Oli Blackadder & Ollie Robertson! 👏🏻

      1st pair - Deeside 2- Tom Rennie & Kevin Truscott - 70
      2nd pair - RAGC - Niall Young & Mark Halliday - 71

      The 2024 Order of Merit table has been updated after the results from the South of Scotland Strokeplay Championship last weekend. Andrew Kerr Southerness has a slender lead over Colin Hamilton Stranraer and the rest of the chasing pack. The top 5 are as follows -
      1. Andrew Kerr 470 pts
      2. Colin Hamilton 335 pts
      3. D McConnachie 305 pts
      4. D Brodie 285 pts
      5. C Corbett 275 pts
      With 5 events left to play this season, the race is on for the top spot.

  • Falkirk County Championship

      Huge congratulations to our reigning club champion Stuart Murray who won the County Championship today at Kilsyth.
      Stuart qualified in 4 place after a 73 last Sunday.
      He won his quarter final match against Calum Bauchop from Glenbervie 8 & 7 on Tuesday.
      He won 2 & 1 this morning against the StrokePlay Champion Eoin Brown from Kilsyth.
      In the final against Alex Marshall from Grangemouth he won 7 & 6. 🏆
      Stuart is the 1st Male County Champion for FGC in 14 years.
