Order of Merit Update – Top 8 After 6 Events With six events now complete in the 2025 Scottish Golf North Men’s Order of Merit, the leaderboard is taking shape! From Elgin to Brora, the region’s best amateurs have battled through changing conditions, gusty winds, and fierce competition. Here's how things stand heading into the second half of the season:

Ryan Copland (Moray Golf Club & Pro Shop) – 1315 pts
Craig Smith (Moray) – 793.75 pts
Jamie Whittet (Nairn) – 750 pts
Lewis Reid (Fortrose & Rosemarkie Golf Club Links) – 713.33 pts
Tom Ross (Reay Golf Club) – 370 pts
R Allan L Cameron (Royal Dornoch Golf Club) – 338 pts
Jordan Edwards (Moray) – 337.5 pts
Steven Pears (Nairn) – 300 pts
Player Highlights Ryan Copland has been the standout so far, with a runner-up finish at the North District Championship, followed by wins at both the Boyd Anderson and King Trophy. Three events, three podiums — he’s opened up a big lead.
Craig Smith has shown consistency throughout, with strong finishes at the District Championship, Boyd Anderson, and King Trophy, keeping him firmly in second place.
Jamie Whittet set the tone early by winning the North District Championship at Elgin. Still sitting third, despite limited starts since.
Lewis Reid has built a solid campaign, finishing third at the District Championship, picking up key points at Moray and Nairn to sit fourth overall.
Tom Ross is climbing fast, after winning the Millicent Bowl and earning more points at the Kingussie Spring Open.
R Allan L Cameron has quietly built a strong season across multiple venues, scoring points in three different events including the Millicent Bowl and King Trophy.
Jordan Edwards made a major move with his T2 finish at the Boyd Anderson, showing he’s a threat when in form.
Steven Pears remains inside the top 8 after his solid 5th place finish at the North District Championship.
Eligibility Reminder: Players must compete in at least 4 events to be eligible for final Order of Merit prizes and rankings.

Huge congratulations to our reigning club champion Stuart Murray who won the County Championship today at Kilsyth.Stuart qualified in 4 place after a 73 last Sunday.He won his quarter final match against Calum Bauchop from Glenbervie 8 & 7 on Tuesday.He won 2 & 1 this morning against the StrokePlay Champion Eoin Brown from Kilsyth.In the final against Alex Marshall from Grangemouth he won 7 & 6.
