Royal Aberdeen Golf Club amateur player Paul Booth won for the second time in 3 weeks with an excellent 67(-5). Paul won by one shot from another amateur Adam Giles (Murcar Links Golf Club) on 68(-4).
The committee and players would like to extend thanks to Newburgh Golf Club for hosting today. The course was in fantastic condition and the catering was excellent.

With the temperature slowly rising the course softened towards late morning and with no wind gave perfect playing conditions - albeit on the temporary frost greens.
The greens however had decent surfaces but were also very tricky on some difficult slopes.
Professional Philip McLean (Peterhead Golf Club) came out on top today with a strong finish to shoot a very solid round of 65(-2). Philip had 4 birdies at 4, 16, 17, 18 and dropped at 3 & 5.
