Local Inverness golfer Summer Elliott will have the honour of hitting the opening tee shot at this year's Women's Amateur Championship at Nairn.
The Championship is free to watch and everyone is welcome to support when the action starts tomorrow.

St Andrews Links - St Rule Trophy 2025

St Andrews Links proudly welcomed 60 of the world’s top amateur women golfers this past weekend for the 40th playing of the St Rule Trophy.
We extend our congratulations to Davina Xanh who took victory following an excellent weekend of competition over the New Course and Old Course.
The 22-year-old from Burnham & Berrow sealed the win with back-to-back birdies on the 17th and 18th holes of the Old Course to post a score of 11 under-par, securing her the title by a single stroke.
Xanh joins an illustrious list of past participants who have gone on to enjoy professional success, notably Annika Sorenstam, Catriona Matthew and Melissa Reid.
