The first tournament of the season in April at Crail Golfing Society already has 83 entries
, Royal Dornoch Golf Club is at 100 (with a reserve list), and Tain Golf Club currently sitting at 82

North England Women's Amateur Championship
Goswick Golf Club and Seaton Carew Golf Club, the two premier links courses in North England, are joining forces to co-host the first-ever North England Women’s Amateur Championship 27th and 28th May. This new 54-hole event has been approved by the R&A for the awarding of World Amateur Golf Ranking points. And it takes place in the run up to the prestigious St Rule Trophy to be contested over the New and Old Courses in St Andrews the ensuing weekend. So there's every reason to believe that it will attract a strong field of some of the UK's best women amateur players. Scan the QR code on the graphic for entry details.

By Alan TaitWell that’s a wrap for the inaugural 2024 Scottish Womens Amateur Tour… And what a place to sign off the season with today’s grand final at wonderful Cabot Highlands Castle StuartWell done Melissa Keay of Ralston Golf Club winning the scratch with a fantastic 72 , and to Margo Gardner from The West Lothian Golf Club winning the nett with a 73. Melissa actually won the nett too, but could only win one prize today

A wee Taity Tomatin Whisky toast to the first year of the Scottish Womens Amateur Tour, and to wonderful Cabot Highlands Castle Stuart and Jeremy Matte for hosting yesterday’s grand final

2nd round on the Scottish Womens Amateur Tour event at Montrose Golf Links, unfortunately abandoned halfway round today, due to torrential rain and thunder and lightning
… Tournament reduced to one round with yesterday’s 18 holes counting…. So well done to Robyn Fowlie of Murcar Links Golf Club on winning the scratch category with a 76 (+3) and to Lesley Gibb from The West Lothian Golf Club winning the nett with a 70Huge thanks to my big pal and Montrose head professional Jason Boyd for hosting, and all his support yet again.
